Carly & Chris: Chicago Skyline Engagement Photography
It's October in Chicago! The weather is lovely, the windows are open and the leaves are just about to change. Fall is my favorite time of year here in Chicago for engagement sessions.
In the past few weeks, my 2017 couples have explored the Morton Arboretum, Cantigny Park, Montrose Beach & now Adler Planetarium with me. We chose these places for their sentimental significance, natural beauty or architectural wonder. My hope for each session is that no matter the backdrop or setting, each couple (and their families & friends) finds their feelings of love, respect, joy, trust, happiness, contentment, peace and excitement reflected in their engagement photographs. There are so many photographs in the world, but it's the meaningful photographs that reflect the beauty in truth that are timeless.
Carly and Chris braved the journey to Adler Planetarium on the same night as the Bears played at home at Soldier Field (right next door, for you out of town folks). These two have chemistry and a sense of humor that comes through with undeniable clarity. Both Chris and Carly share a lot of love for their families, friends, Chicago, the Bears and the Blackhawks (there's even a nod to Kaner & Sharpie in their engagement pictures below!). I'm already looking forward to the wedding these two are going to throw in May next year!
